The Landing Studio at CREW Galway is a pilot initiative designed to support creative enterprises and innovation-driven businesses from across the West and Northwest of Ireland.
Launched in February 2026, the Landing Studio provides regionally based companies with access to a high-quality support infrastructure in a collaborative innovation environment at CREW, Galway’s leading creative enterprise hub. The initiative enables participants to experiment with new technologies, develop new products and services, and collaborate across sectors.
AIM, the AI and Innovation Centre based in Sligo, joins the Landing Studio as anchor tenant, bringing specialist expertise in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

David Pierce is founder of Black Hole Studio, a creative multimedia studio based in the West of Ireland and now also in WDC’s 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 in CREW, Galway.
Black Hole Studio produce fine art photography, video and multimedia projects while promoting artistic community work and commercial visual services.
Meet Marilyn Fleming, Managing Director of Talegate Media and Publishing, who are all about 𝑎 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦, 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙 𝑡𝑜𝑙𝑑.

Meet Miguel Escobar, founder of Mekkato CreaTech Studio and creator of the AI-powered screenwriting platform ScriptGuru.
Mekkato has recently joined the WDC’s AI-focused CreaTech 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 at CREW, where he is working alongside other creatives and the AI research team from the AIM Centre.
Meet Patrick Brennan of Torc Studio, a virtual heritage site creator. Heritage sites and the stories they hold are often partially or fully inaccessible to a wide variety of people. Torc Studio aims to address this in a compelling and engaging way. Torc’s core areas of focus are accessibility, balancing authenticity and interpretation, and interactivity.
