Westernjobs.ie was launched as an initiative of Western Development Commission in 2021. It is a free online jobs promotion platform for employers based in the West of Ireland.
The westernjobs.ie team will take to the road for the first in person event since its launch at the Jobs Expo in the Croke Park, Dublin on Saturday 26th March. We are calling on all employers in the West to create a profile and add their jobs to westernjobs.ie before Saturday 26th March so we can promote as many opportunities as possible at the event.
Hundreds of new jobs have been announced in the Western region in 2022 and there are currently open roles available across all sectors including ecommerce, medtech, IT, finance, education and engineering. Our team will be promoting the job opportunities available and the benefits of moving to the West of Ireland.
For job seekers, WesternJobs.ie provides a one-stop-shop to give them all the information they require about opportunities in the West and the benefits of moving there. It will allow them to stay updated on relevant positions based on their skills and preferences and will enable them to connect with employers and agencies across the region.
With more and more people working remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are encouraging people to make a permanent and viable move to the West where they can enjoy costs of living that are among the lowest in Ireland.
A tool specifically for the West of Ireland has never previously been available. Movers can avail of the many job options including remote working and hybrid options as full-time and part-time open across multiple sectors.
