Resonance is a community-led, not-for-profit event bringing world-class speakers, authors and performers together for two days of workshops, talks and events across Ballina and Killaloe in County Clare.

This year’s programme explored leadership, resilience, sustainability and education, themes central to building vibrant regional economies and supporting talent in the West. It included talks from David McWilliams, economist, Cathy O’Halloran, ex-RTE mid-west correspondent, and music from Gemma Hayes, plus much more.

From a new sustainability-focused film strand to workshops and discussions on entrepreneurship, mental health and creative leadership, Resonance continues to strengthen networks and spark collaboration in its own unique boutique-festival package.

Events were fully booked across the three days, with strong local footfall, visitor engagement, and warm audience feedback. Clare-based venues, businesses and suppliers played a central role in the delivery of the festival.

The Western Development Commission was proud to sponsor this year’s festival and support initiatives that connect communities, stimulate innovation and reinforce the long-term resilience of regional economies.

Congratulations to Carmel Doolan, Emily Ross, Steve Coakley and all the team at Resonance Lough Derg Festival in bringing this event to life. We value our partnership and shared ambition to see the region thrive.
