Project Description

GoNaturePositive! is an EU-funded initiative dedicated to fostering a Nature-Positive Economy (NPE)—an economic system that promotes prosperity while safeguarding and rejuvenating the natural environment. Coordinated by Trinity College Dublin, the project unites 20 partners across 14 countries, including research institutions, non-profits, and environmental organisations, all committed to leading the nature-positive agenda at global and European levels.

The project aims to:

  • Define and conceptualise the NPE, providing a clear framework for understanding and implementation.
  • Develop a roadmap identifying policy and governance pathways towards achieving a nature-positive economy.
  • Demonstrate the benefits of nature-positive practices for both people and the planet.
  • Engage stakeholders from various sectors to co-create solutions that balance economic activities with nature’s recovery.

By leveraging innovative approaches and fostering cross-sector collaboration, GoNaturePositive! seeks to reshape market forces in favour of regenerating Earth’s ecosystems.
